Ah, but we have, if we've been talking with them. Which I have, since I got here. It's a diverse crew, but I won't pretend I don't expect that people who have no reason to trust me won't tell me what's going on. I do agree, however, that sending unprepared people down planet with no experienced crew to oversee or provide guidance? Is ridiculous. That's the expendability I don't sanction.
Which is to say I agree, but not wholeheartedly. If I can see a reason why someone would want to manipulate and use people while keeping them blind and unaware to the true purpose, then I'd know more than I do now. All I feel is that it's likely that's what's happening. I don't know the bigger picture. Yet, as you say, for us and those who keep arriving after we have, there is no surviving if we're not watching out for each other.
So yes. Minimize damage. I agree. I'm glad to help with that to the extent that I'm able. I also agree that withholding judgment until we do see more of the larger picture behind what drives the Eluvio sounds wise.
I may need to take you up on that offer. As for my friends, I'll have to talk with Yuuri. I imagine he'll feel the same, but he may want to rely on those bonds he's been making on his own. Eichi physically can't withstand training, but there have to be decent tools he can use as a substitute. What he may lack in physical fortitude he makes up in mental fortitude.
They aren't. I feel if there had been a way to come here with a more organised approach, I would take more pleasure in watching their way of life. They have beautiful murals. They decorate themselves in intricate jewelry. It's impressive, and striking. Almost as much as their body paints and the designs... I haven't seen anything like it before.
